Dan Plastina is a native of Rende, in the Calabria region of Italy. His first job began at age 3, helping to mind sheep and other animals on a self-sustaining hillside farm. His family moved to Canada in the 1950s and after a busy sports-focused youth he eventually became a professor at Seneca College, King Campus. Dan is enjoying an active retirement in Collingwood with his lovely wife Fiorella.
