The Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach, in conjunction with the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority, are looking to plant 1,000 trees in the Nottawasaga Watershed on Saturday May 14th.
Trees help enhance fish & wildlife habitat, shade the stream, stabilize the banks and capture carbon!
To help defray the costs of this planting, Rotary is doing a fund-raising project. They are selling 200 native tree saplings and shrubs to the public for their own yards. All tree saplings will be 1-2 feet high and come in 1 or 2 gallon pots.
Pre-order your tree(s) at https://www.wasagabeachrotary.com/shop You can then pick them up in the Wasaga Beach RecPlex parking lot on Saturday May 7th between 11:00am and 3:00pm.
