Introducing: Bay Area Photographer Lynda Errington

Just Sayin’ Georgian Bay is proud to introduce our newest featured photographer Lynda Errington.

Innisfil is currently home for Lynda but the talented photographer spends virtually all of her weekends, as well as some of her weekdays, at her Aunt’s place in Lafontaine in the Township of Tiny.

“As a child my family cottaged at Thunder Beach at my grandparents’ cottage. This is where my love for capturing photos of our beautiful local areas around Tiny Township first started” Lynda recalls.

From cottaging at Chandlers on River Road to, later on, properties her grandparents purchased on Silver Birch Drive, Tiny became the locale for much of her youth and adolescence.

Lynda had received a Kodak Instamatic when she was 11 and her love of photography grew right along with her.

Today she shoots with a Nikon D5100 and her iPhone. The avid photographer loves shooting landscapes but confesses that animals are also favourite subjects. While she will stop to take photos wherever she happens to be she is undoubtedly focussed, as many of us are, on the beauty of the Georgian Bay area.

JSGB is thrilled to be adding samples of Lynda’s photographyinto our website’s Photo Gallery. Watch for new shots each month.

Lynda sells her prints on request and can be contacted through her Instagram account @georgianbayexperience
