In the fall of 2019, after almost 17 years managing a variety of condominium corporations Allan Nolan thought he was ready to retire from a busy, dedicated career.
But the Meaford resident says there is a large inventory of condominium corporations in this area and understanding the related need for professional property management services has motivated him to venture back into the field.
Allan’s range of experience is diverse – townhomes, low-rises, high-rises, and shared facilities – in two geographically distinct locations – Toronto/York Region and Simcoe/Grey. “I’ve managed condominiums from 7 units to 319 units” he explained. “As well as shared facilities such as tennis courts, club houses, and swimming pools.”
In addition he has owned and lived in a variety of these settings himself over the years. During that time he sat on the Board of Directors of 4 condominium corporations, in various capacities, giving him a real-life perspective of all sides of the table.
So in March this year Allan opened the doors to Your Home Property Management, based in Collingwood. “We aren’t setting out to be the biggest but we don’t want to be the smallest either” he chuckles. “Our focus is quality not quantity.”
Working alongside him as an Associate/Consultant is Mike Salnek who has over 20 years in the condominium property management profession himself. Robyn Young, who brings over 20 years of experience as well as 10 years in the timeshare field, is the Office Administrator. Jennifer Walters, with 4 years of experience looking after the financial aspects of condominium corporations, rounds out the team as Client Account Manager.
