The Hospice Georgian Triangle team will be on main street downtown Collingwood on Saturday morning, and they hope YOU will stop by to say hi!
During COVID-19, Hospice Georgian Triangle opened a new location, located at 186 Hurontario Street, downtown Collingwood.
This new space houses three departments:
1. The Community Support team, who provide grief and bereavement services, run support groups, and to facilitate education in the importance of palliative care to support a healthy community.
2. The Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Clinic, which aims to reach people earlier in their diagnosis, and to avoid unnecessary crisis or emergency room visits.
3. The Foundation, whose mandate is to raise the $1.6 Million required to ensure that Hospice Georgian Triangle can continue to support everyone in our community, and always at no cost to the client / patient or their family.
On Saturday September 25th, between the hours of 10am and 2pm, stop by 186 Hurontario St, unit 103, Collingwood. The team will be there to say hello, answer questions, to have some fun with the kids, and to sell 50/50 tickets.
That is right… 50/50 tickets! Starting at just $10, you can buy tickets to the current 50/50 raffle, sponsored by Parkbridge Communities. By purchasing a ticket, you are supporting the good work being done at Hospice Georgian Triangle… AND you will be entered to win the JACKPOT, which will be drawn at noon on Sept 30!
The current jackpot is approaching $8000 and growing daily. So grab your tickets NOW at www.HGT5050.com or in person at Community Day. Our smallest jackpot thus far was just shy of $10,000… and the largest was OVER $20,000!!! That’s a WIN-WIN!
See you Saturday! And thank you for your generous support of the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation.
