The Baker’s Bench Will Re-open Soon!
While you may have been missing your regular baked treats from The Baker’s Bench, owner Amanda Sutton is not…well…missing. The Wasaga Beach entrepreneur and head baker is simply between locations. And not for much longer.
Amanda’s former location on River Road East served its purpose. But, as the business continued to grow, the location size needed to grow to meet it. As well Amanda felt a more central location would be optimal for customers. So she made the decision to let the River Road East location go and plans on opening the doors to a prime spot she has lined up beginning this summer.
Meanwhile, with local appetites craving those savoury baked morsels of goodness, Amanda has secured a temporary spot, also in the east end. It will be in the take-out area of the former Swiss Chalet. Things are almost ready to go and she is just waiting for the Town to complete their last couple of inspections.
